MOTOBRIDGE
|
 |
MOTOBRIDGE eliminates communication barriers by connecting incompatible voice communications systems instantly. The bridges between systems are standing by 24/7, ready to be activated the moment they are needed so communication is immediate and seamless. MOTOBRIDGE is IP-based, and available in four modular configurations so interoperability can expand from small areas with only a few radio systems to statewide regions with thousands of systems.

The fast track to interoperability |
|
During an emergency, there’s no time for rescuers to be hampered with incompatible communications. Your personnel need to communicate across multiple agencies and jurisdictions to mount an effective joint response. But creating a network that provides this interoperability is a formidable challenge from many perspectives – financial, physical and cultural. |
Now you have a new and cost-effective option for quickly establishing communications between disparate systems in support of emergency response, day-to-day operations, and compliance with Homeland Security grant requirements. With MOTOBRIDGE ™ Interoperable Solution you can achieve interoperability now.
|
| |
Works with the networks you already have |
|
The MOTOBRIDGE solution works with your current systems. Federal, state, and local agencies with widely differing systems can come together today. And, because MOTOBRIDGE supports the P25 standard as well as legacy technologies, agencies can continue using MOTOBRIDGE as they migrate to new systems on their own timetables.
|
| |
Four Different Configurations |
|
MOTOBRIDGE is available in four modular configurations that allow you to grow as your interoperability needs grow. MOTOBRIDGE G1 and MOTOBRIDGE G4 options provide smaller configurations that are perfect for stand alone or transportable applications. Customers can also easily transition to a MOTOBRIDGE GX or MOTOBRIDGE MX configuration which is more appropriate for a regional or statewide interoperability solution.

Helps individuals and agencies collaborate |
|
Users from different departments can talk to each other in the field and contact each other’s remote command & control and dispatch facilities. Optionally, you can add telephone connectivity to ensure that anyone who needs to be in touch via telephone can get the job done. |
At the dispatch center, full conferencing between centers helps agencies coordinate activities. MOTOBRIDGE works with your existing consoles to add basic joint dispatch capabilities, including the ability to record and instantly replay the last 60 seconds of audio.

Adapts to future requirements |
|
Unlike a traditional gateway, MOTOBRIDGE IP has unique capabilities that allow it to paly a more advanced role in your organization's interoperability strategy. Despite the challenges and sometimes daunting array of technology choices, any organization can craft a solution that fits. In many agencies, that solution will include MOTOBRIDGE IP technology.

Advances over yesterday’s gateway solutions |
|
-
Better disaster survival. Other solutions on the market use a single, centralized controller. If it fails, you’re out of touch. MOTOBRIDGE’s distributed architecture has no single point of failure. If a piece of equipment is damaged, others continue to operate and joint communications are not interrupted.
-
More advanced features. Agencies with radio systems that support advanced call signaling won’t have to do without those extra features. MOTOBRIDGE carries those signals so users still use key features such as Emergency ID.
-
Improved manageability. Network activity and operations monitoring makes it easier for maintenance teams to keep the network running at peak performance. MOTOBRIDGE can run on any standard IP backbone to fit the resources available in your area.
-
Higher security. Digital encryption ensures that only the right people can hear conversations. An optional firewall protects the network from hackers and other unauthorized access
-
Lower cost. Compared to other gateway switches on the market, MOTOBRIDGE’s modular design makes it more cost-effective and scalable to any size. The MOTOBRIDGE is unlimited in the number of users it can support on a single network.

Interoperability solutions range from the most basic (swapping radios) to the most advanced (a standards-based system). The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officers (APCO) 6 methods for achieving interoperability. According to APCO’s methods, MOTOBRIDGE is a Level 4 solution, designed for organizations that need to quickly deploy basic interoperability but are not yet able to migrate to a new system. |
